HISTORY OF OAK LEAF
The Navy Medical Corps Officers’ Wives Club of Washington, DC began at a luncheon on May 29, 1947 with the primary purpose being one of social and benevolent activities. It has transformed over the past fifty years to include all corps and is now known throughout Navy Medicine as the Oak Leaf Club. Today, we are a club committed to promoting friendship through social activities and interest groups with a main focus of supporting our military community through ongoing benevolence projects.
WHO WE ARE?
We are a diverse group of men and women residing in Pensacola with one common thread…Navy Medicine. We are governed by a Board of Directors, members of your community, who welcome your suggestions and encourage involvement in the various activities scheduled throughout the year. |

This is how you get to Sesame Street. Wait for the furry friends to come to a military base near you.
This summer, Elmo, Rosita, Grover, Cookie Monster and Zoe will be visiting 43 bases across the country to give children a fun day away from the worries of deployment and military life.
